Balaia Golf Village
Balaia Golf Village has been built up over the last ten years, and blends beautifully the leisure interests and catering establishments with a combination of luxury apartments and villas.
Our apartment is located near to reception and is in the block adjacent to the recently opened commercial block, where with a two minute walk, freshly baked bread can be purchased and put on the table for breakfast on the patio. In addition, the gymnasium, indoor pool and medical complex are housed close by.
Villa 26 is a four double bedroom villa, and caters for larger parties, or those clients requiring more space and some private garden area. It is located on a row of villas and set close to the golf course and the centrally located whale pool.
The resort offers extensive leisure facilities, including five outdoor pools, one of which is heated, and two with catering outlets. The indoor pool has an adjoining gymnasium, sauna and jacuzzi, all available at a nominal fee, and the golf complex is superb, with friendly and professional service from Maria Jose Pinto and her team. Competitions for residents are held every Wednesday, and the course provides the ideal warm up for the short game. 
Tennis is available near reception on 6 well appointed courts, and a wide range of Algarve attractions and pursuits can be booked through the staff at reception. The advantage of this is that our guests can take advantage of the discounts that Balaia have organised for owners and guests. The location of the complex could not be better for aficionados of golf, with at least twenty courses of championship standard within 45 minutes drive.
Within walking distance are two golden beaches, Sta. Eulalia and Sta. Maria, as well as supermarkets, countless excellent restaurants and the nightlife in Albufeira.
